Merko starts construction of the second phase of Pikaliiva residential area

Today, the sale of apartments at the Pikaliiva 22 and Kaaruti 8 residential buildings which will be completed as the second phase of Pikaliiva development project, begins. There are 50 one- and four-room apartments in two four-story apartment buildings.

The Pikaliiva apartment buildings (merko.ee/pikaliiva) are located in an area with development potential near Lake Harku in the middle of greenery and away from the city noise. A total of ten four-story residential buildings will be built in the quarter. The first two apartment buildings will be completed in autumn 2019 and the next two in spring 2020.

“More than fifty families who have highly valued the layout of the apartments, interior design solutions and a convenient location of the region away from heavy traffic but close to all the necessary amenities, have found their homes in the first-stage buildings of Pikaliiva,” said Tiit Kuusik, Director of the Property Development Division of Merko Ehitus Eesti. “The living environment that is being created around apartment buildings is also increasingly important to apartment buyers,” Kuusik asserted.

The new residential quarter will include courtyards and playgrounds with diverse landscaping and lighting. Plastered apartment buildings will be adorned with the brick imitation used on the end walls. Each apartment has a balcony, and the ground floor apartments have a spacious terrace. Facilities include an elevator, a public area for bicycles and prams and personal storage rooms. Parking spaces for cars will be established around the house.

Pikaliiva apartment buildings are of B energy class. The buildings have economical underfloor heating, the emphasis has been placed on soundproof apartment partition walls and increasing the thermal insulation of the exterior walls. The southern windows of apartment buildings will be fitted with glasses with an elevated sun protection class, which provide protection from excessive heat in the summer.

The home buyer can choose from six interior decoration packages. The sizes of the apartments range from 33 to 84 m², and the prices range from EUR 1,892 to EUR 2,550 per square meter.

For nearly 30 years, Merko has built and sold over 4,400 homes in the Baltics and built a holistic and well-thought-out living environment for thousands of people.
