The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has compiled the Estonian Business Competitiveness Ranking Table since 2003. The competition is the highest recognition for businesses by business organizations.
The competition aims to identify the best in both large and tiny, small and medium sized companies, and top ranking in retail, wholesale, industry and energy, food industry, construction, communications/IT-services, tourism, financial intermediation, service, agriculture and forestry, and architecture and design.
In the framework of the competition, the overall ranking of companies’ competitiveness is measured on the basis of economic indicators. The economic activity indicators of the last two years are taken into account: sales revenue, net profit, equity, number of employees and labor costs.
The partner for data analysis and ranking is the Estonian Institute of Economic Research in cooperation with the Lausanne Institute for Management Development.
